About

At Pod Slab Sales, we are striving for sustainable long term EPS recycling solutions within our contemporary recycling facility.

Commercial and domestic Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) is a lightweight cellular plastic material that is used for a wide variety of applications. Designed to optimise strength and performance of its surrounding surfaces, EPS is the future in building and construction slabs. Pod Slab Sales state-of-the-art Waffle Pods system has revolutionised modern slab reinforcement, all designed using recycled Expanded Polystyrene.

In providing quality construction products, we are driven to also actively manage our footprint on the natural environment, hence the adoption of our EPS Foam Recycling strategy.

The Waffle Pod Slab System is the winner of an Engineering Excellence Award from the Institution of Engineers Australia, and complies with all relevant Australian Codes and Standards.

Waffle Pods are the most highly tested slab system in Australia, and in Australia are designed to comply with AS2870 – The Australian Standard for Residential Slabs and Footings (current version AS2870-2011 which covers the slabs and footing code)
